I started doing Million Dollar Masterpieces back in 2000 on Springfield 33 (KSPR). This was before home selling shows on HGTV were a really big deal. It was a blast and I got to see inside some of the most beautiful homes in southwest Missouri. A $1,000,000 home in the Ozarks back in 2000 was big deal.
We videotaped five shows to start. The homes were on Eaglescliff Drive in Highland Springs Country Club, the neighborhood where Brad Pitt’s family lives, one in Branson, a massive farm in Rogersville, and one on Jones Mill Lane. The home along Jones Branch was the first one to hit the air. And to my surprise, it just went back on the market. This time… $3,500,000.
Some may see the size of the home and question the price. It is a little over 5,000 sq. ft. and a little over an acre. But trust me, when you see it… you will understand. This was one of the most comfortable homes I have ever toured. And the setting is second to none.
This will be a great home for someone for a family. But for me, it was a great trip down memory lane.
