Missouri in TV and Film

Movies Shot in Missouri?  Dozens of films have been shot in Missouri since movie making began.  And dozens more  have been set in Missouri with our amazing history and beautiful landscapes.  The films below fit one of those two criteria.

Some of these films hit the trifecta; shot in Missouri, based in Missouri, with Missouri actors. One in particular is The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.  Much of Jesse James’ history is in Missouri, as is the history of Robert Ford.  And when Springfield’s own Brad Pitt starring, you know it’s a Missouri masterpiece.
