Kauffman Center
The Kauffman Center refers to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The amazing structure is a cultural and entertainment venue located in Kansas City. It is named after Ewing Marion Kauffman, a prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist. The center opened its doors in September 2011 and has since become a landmark in the city. It is a part of the renaissance of downtown Kansas City, which also includes the Power and Light District.

- Muriel Kauffman Theatre: This theater has seating for approximately 1,800 people and is primarily used for hosting ballets, opera, Broadway shows, and other theatrical performances.
- Helzberg Hall: This is the home of the Kansas City Symphony and can accommodate around 1,600 people. It is renowned for its acoustics, making it an ideal space for orchestral concerts and other musical performances.
The Kauffman Center’s architecture is modern and visually striking, with its sweeping curves and glass façade. In fact, it was one of the most difficult buildings ever to design and build due to exacting standards for the performance hall. Besides hosting performances, the center also offers educational programs and community events to promote the arts and enrich the cultural experiences of the Kansas City community and its visitors.
