The village of Huntleigh is primarily residential and does not have any commercial or industrial areas within its boundaries. Its secluded nature and limited development contribute to its reputation as an exclusive and private community. Many members of the Busch family have had estates in the village over the years. In fact, August Anheuser Busch, Sr. even founded a fox hunting club on property in the area back in the 1920s.
