There are dozens of famous broadcasters from Missouri. In fact, the Show Me State has arguably more nationally known media people than most any other state.  Part of the reason may be due to the Journalism School at Mizzou.  Others have postulated that the “lack of dialect” in Missouri leads to high numbers of nationally known broadcasters.  Whatever the case, there are dozens of famous broadcasters from Missouri.
