J-Kwon

Rapper/Musician

When J-Kwon was thirteen, he was kicked out of the house by his mother and
forced to live in the backseat of a car. He fell into a dangerous life of selling drugs
in south St. Louis, but a St. Louis music producer took him under his wing and
mentored the young man in the music business. Before he was even out of his
teens, J-Kwon took the music world by storm with the song “Tipsy,” produced
by music producers Trackboyz. His first album, Hood Hop, climbed the charts and
made him one of the most in-demand rappers of the time.
